Bau Trang, also known as Bau Sen - Mui Ne white sand dune, is about 65km from Phan Thiet to the Northeast, Bau Trang is located in Hoa Thang Commune, Bac Binh District. Coming to Bau Trang, visitors can go by two routes: drive from the center of Mui Ne to Hon Rom then continue to drive for about 12km or driving from Highway 1A to Luong Son town about 18km to get there. If you travel in the direction of Mui Ne - Hon Rom, you can drive to Mui Ne, through Mui Ne market, keep running along the beach then it will take about 1 hour to get there. If visitors follow Luong Son route, they will drive through bare hills and through So Do forest and the green Coconut on the unspoiled and rustic sand dunes. The depth of Bau Ba is 19m in the rainy season. Around Bau Ba, there are many lotuses planted. Lotus is planted by local people for the purpose of harvesting lotus seeds and lotus root. However, it is the lotus growing in this area that makes this landscape even more unique and beautiful.
