Our country still has many primeval forests but especially Nui Chua National Forest with the uniqueness that can’t be easily found in any forest in Vietnam. Located in the north of Ninh Thuan and is the only arid forest in Vietnam and also a unique one in Southeast Asia, this forest attracts domestic and foreign visitors by the blue white sand beach, colorful coral reefs, stones with various shapes and lush greenery provide an important source of fresh air for Central Viet Nam.
Located in Ninh Hai and Thuan Bac districts of Ninh Thuan province; Nui Chua National Park covers an area of 29,865ha, of which the land area is 22,513 ha, the sea part is 7,352 ha; the buffer zone consists of 08 communes with 7,350ha. About 30,000 people live inside the boundaries of Núi Chúa National Park, and a further 25,000 live in the buffer zone. The majority of these people belong to the Kinh, Cham and Raglay ethnic minority groups. The Raglay people make up 21% of the community and Cham people another 3%. The socioeconomic level of many of these people is quite low, especially the inhabitants of the National Park, who experience an average of six months of food shortages per year. These communities are heavily dependent on forest resources, which are being depleted.
Nui Chua National Forest is distributed on the mountain complex encroaching on the windy coast. Although located in arid regions, the ecosystem here has many groups of aggregates which are very diverse in quality and species.

Although Nui Chua is only approximately 1,000 meters above sea level, it is not easy to conquer this peak. From the satellite image, Nui Chua is shaped like a turtle with a head facing toward the south, the tail is the protruding part of the Xop Cape poking into Cam Ranh Bay as if from the sea crawling to the mainland. This mountain has many peaks at different heights, the highest one is the peak of Co Tuy mountain, which is 1,040m high. To conquer the Co Tuy’s peak, you must be persistent enough to cross the 6 peaks of the Chua Ong, Chua Chau, Chua Em, Chua Anh, Chua Vo.
After successfully conquering Nui Chua, many people think that going to the top of the mountain is more difficult than climbing the roof of Indochina Fansipan because Nui Chua is located in a unique forest, typical for the drought ecosystem in Southeast Asia. , with a climate as dry as the Middle East.
The unique feature of Nui Chua National Park that many people come to look for is the beautiful blue beaches one after another. A series of beaches such as Thung beach, Bai beach, Hoi beach, Nuoc Do beach, Cha La beach, Binh Tien beach, Banana beach, Da Vach beach... and countless other nameless beaches are waiting for you to experience.
Coming to Nui Chua National Park, you not only walk along the most beautiful coastal road, conquer the mountain with the harshest climate, immerse yourself in the sea of white sand, but also have the opportunity to learn about the reproduction of rare and precious sea turtles that are being protected by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. This place is recognized as a place where sea turtles population come to breed including species such as pineapple tortoise, green turtles, and copper guards.
